Les Dennis, a comedian and actor from the United Kingdom, was born October 12, 1953. British comedian, Les Dennis was a Family Fortunes host for 15 years. Dennis Dennis Heseltine was born in Garston, Liverpool on 12/10/1953. His mother worked in a factory, while his father worked in a betting shop after he served in the Royal Navy during World War II. Dennis had a son named Philip after his first marriage to Lynne, which lasted between 1974 and 1990. His autobiography also details his affair with Sophie Aldred (actress). On 4 June 1995, he married Amanda Holden. After Holden’s affair was revealed in the media in 2000, Holden and actress Amanda Holden split. They divorced in 2003.
