…says only Atiku is fit for president
Pastor Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has stated that the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, will correct Nigeria’s partiality syndrome. He stated that the former vice president will correct the situation in which mediocrity, cronyism, and partiality are used to award contracts rather than competence.
This was stated by Omokri in his 118th series on why Nigerians should vote for Atiku as president.
“Day 118 of #WhyShouldIVoteAtiku: On March 29, 2012, Bola Tinubu told then-Governor Babatunde Fashola that “if there is no partiality, you cannot be governor.” He admitted that cronyism, rather than merit, is used to fill positions in government.
Nigeria does not require that right now. We got here because we didn’t put our best foot forward. We have used ethnicity, region, and religion to fill critical positions in government, and as a result, Nigeria is now the world’s extreme poverty capital.
Waziri Atiku will provide the necessary course correction. As vice president, he was known for scouting the best talent, no matter where it came from. He is a meritocratic leader who is not interested in stacking government positions with his cronies, regardless of whether those positions are meritocratic or not. Nepotism is an APC ideal.
Waziri Atiku Abubakar is also a pragmatic leader who closely monitors those he appoints. While he will not micromanage, his ability to build a conglomerate with his Priam Group of Companies, through which he employs 13,500 Nigerian citizens and produces goods and services made in Nigeria, is a testament to his business leadership.
These are qualities that Bola Tinubu has demonstrated he lacks. And without them, it is impossible to save Nigeria and bring its citizens back to health.
That is yet another reason why I urge you and your family to vote for Waziri Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party on Election Day, Saturday, February 25, 2023.
“Please join me in voting for Atiku tomorrow if God spares my life.”
Similarly, in his 117th series, Omokri stated that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, has already accepted defeat by complaining that his own party’s patriotic policies are working against him.
While other candidates lack patience and other qualities needed to be president, Atiku has repeatedly demonstrated his qualifications.
The statement is as follows:
“Day 117 of #WhyShouldIVoteAtiku: The minute a presidential candidate starts to complain that patriotic national policies, introduced by his own party, are against him, such a person has already admitted defeat. The paranoia they exude serves as a warning to the public not to vote for them. It is an indication of their mental fragility.
Nyesom Wike has been openly attempting to undermine Waziri Atiku, even publicly insulting him with foul language. Waziri, however, has never responded. He ignored him and concentrated on his goal. If Bola Tinubu can’t follow in Waziri’s footsteps and focus on his goal without attacking unknown Villa elements, how will he handle the pressures of office?
Bola Tinubu, by nature, is unfit to be president of Nigeria or any other nation.
Complaining is not a leader’s act because it demonstrates your inability to solve the problem or change your attitude toward it. Whining is an indication that you are losing.
Nigeria requires a commander-in-chief rather than a chief complainer. In Aso Rock, we need a winner, not a whiner. Waziri Atiku Abubakar is needed.
That is why, on Election Day, Saturday, February 25, 2023, I urge you and your family and friends to vote for Waziri Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party.
